Jawa Barat Miliki Lulusan S2 dan S3 Terbanyak di Indonesia

ZONALITERASI.ID – Jawa Barat merupakan provinsi yang memiliki penduduk dengan lulusan S2 (magister) dan S3 (doktor) terbanyak di Indonesia.

Untuk lulusan S2, Jawa Barat memiliki 144,19 ribu magister. Urutan selanjutnya yaitu DKI Jakarta (114,93 ribu magister) dan Jawa Timur (106,57 ribu magister).

Sementara untuk lulusan S3, di Tatar Pasundan terdapat sebanyak 13.133 jiwa yang memiliki gelar doktor. Sementara di peringkat 2 dan 3 diduduki oleh Jawa Timur (7.493 doktor) dan DKI Jakarta (7.102 doktor).

Diketahui, merujuk pada data yang dilansir Direktorat Jenderal Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil (Dukcapil) Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri), Juni 2021, sebanyak 17,08 juta jiwa (6,27%) penduduk Indonesia mengenyam pendidikan hingga ke jenjang perguruan tinggi. Dari jumlah tersebut, sebanyak 67,8% merupakan lulusan S1.

Kemudian, sebanyak 20,28% berpendidikan hingga jenjang D3, ada 6,75% berpendidikan hingga jenjang D1 dan D2, terdapat 4,82% yang berpendidikan hingga jenjang S2, serta ada 0,35% yang berpendidikan hingga jenjang S3.

Prosentase yang sangat besar justru didominasi warga yang tidak/belum sekolah (23,61%). Selanjutnya tamat SD 23,4%, SLTA 20,89%, SLTP 14,54%, belum tamat SD 11,14%, S1 (Sarjana) 4,39%, serta D3 1,28%, D1 dan D2 0,41%. (des)***
