PGRI Memperjuangkan Martabat Guru

ADALAH Sutan M. Sitompul bertanya pada Saya, “Apakah semua guru wajib masuk PGRI? Apakah anggota PGRI bisa masuk di organisasi -rangkap- profesi guru selain PGRI juga? Apakah wajib iuran PGRI bagi guru negeri maupun yang honor? Ini pertanyaan yang bisa saja mewakili sejumlah guru di negeri ini. Di FB Saya tidak bisa jawab langsung.

Melalui tulisan ini semoga sedikit memberi pencerahan dan informasi sebagai bahan diskusi. Pertanyaan pertama jawabannya adalah “Semua guru tidak wajib masuk organisasi PGRI”. Organisasi profesi guru itu banyak, ada puluhan, silahkan pilih yang menurut kita terbaik. Pelajari sejarah, manfaat, dan hasil perjuangannya pada guru.

Pertanyaan ke dua jawabannya adalah “PGRI tidak bisa diduakan silahkan pilih PGRI atau di luar PGRI”. Memang dalam tubuh PGRI masih ada kelemahan bahkan di organisasi selain PGRI juga sama. Ada mantan caleg, mantan anggota partai, atau mungkin Ia masih menyimpan KTA partai di dompetnya namun masih jadi pengurus organisasi guru, ini salah fatal.

Terutama PGRI yang non-partisan dalam AD ARTnya. Sangat tidak elok bila dalam organisasi profesi guru ada sejumlah mantan caleg. Ini menjadi lucu, seolah “terlarang” masuk di organisasi profesi guru lain tapi boleh masuk partai politik. Keluar masuk di partai politik dan menjadi pengurus PGRI seperti boleh. Semoga ke depan tidak ada lagi mantan caleg di organisasi guru.

Pertanyaan ke tiga jawabannya adalah “Iuran PGRI wajib bahkan sangat wajib bagi semua anggota, guru negeri atau pun honor”. Terutama anggota yang sudah mendapatkan TPG sangat-sangat wajib. Bukankah anggota PGRI bahkan bukan anggota PGRI pun mendapatkan uang TPG puluhan juta per tahun jasa PGRI? Bila kita punya etika dan rasa “utang budi” perjuangan maka penuhi aturan organisasi terkait iuran.

Sesuai amanah UU RI No 14 Tahun 2005 spirit organisasi profesi guru adalah “kuota guru” harus menjadi khas dan unikasi organisasi profesi guru. Dari guru, oleh guru, untuk guru, demi guru, karena guru, asbab guru. Oganisasi profesi guru harus dominan guru. Buku pertama Saya yang berjudul “PGRI Wajah Guru Indonesia” membawa pesan perubahan agar guru lebih cinta organisasinya.

PGRI adalah organisasi yang memperjuangakan harkat martabat guru. Martabat guru adalah goalnya. PGRI berjuang demi guru, itu yang utama. Faktanya TPG adalah genuine hasil perjuangan PGRI bukan yang lain. Hadirnya UU RI No 14 Tahun 2005 dan berimplikasi hadirnya TPG adalah buah juang PGRI. Prof. Surya, Ketua Umum PB PGRI yang mantan guru SD adalah orang di balik hadirnya peningkatan martabat finansial guru.

PGRI adalah organisasi profesi guru yang memperjuangkan harkat martabat guru. Bukan memperjuangkan harkat martabat selain guru. Porsi perjuangan PGRI adalah entitas guru Indonesia. Terutama masa depan guru-guru baru, guru milenial dan guru honorer tentunya. Guru honorer adalah prioritas, walau tidak sedikit guru honorer yang rese dan aneh-aneh.

Perjuangan martabat guru terkait : 1) upaya mendorong peningkatan kompetensi guru, 2) upaya mendorong kesejahteraan guru, 3) upaya mendorong perlindungan profesi guru, 4) upaya mendorong karir para guru prestatif, 5) upaya mendorong prestasi dan karya para guru, 6) upaya mendorong peningkatan pengabdian guru pada masyarakat, 7) upaya mendorong para guru agar lebih bermental kolaboratif dan inovatif, 8) upaya mendorong para guru lebih adaptasi terhadap tuntutan perubahan, dan 9) mendorong para guru agar tetap menjadi kekuatan moral intelektual sebagai hankam negara dan kekuatan SDM bangsa.

PGRI wajib dan harus bertransformasi dari waktu ke waktu, setiap waktu, sesuai tuntutan zaman dan “permintaan” suara kebatinan entitas guru. Guru anggota adalah pembayar iuran dan pemilik saham yang menghidupkan “finansial” organisasi. Dari sekolahan dan dari rantinglah para pengurus PGRI bisa bekerja. Tanpa “energi” dari guru di sekolahan dan ranting PGRI bisa mandeg.

Siklus mutualisma organisasi harus berjalan. Anggota bayar iuran, pengurus “bayar” dengan usaha tiada henti memperjuangkan harkat martabat guru Indonesia. Potensi guru milenial -terutama- yang saat ini eksis, 10 tahun ke depan akan menentukan organisasi mana yang masih bertahan. Guru muda milenial hari ini adalah guru pengisi organisasi profesi guru masa depan.***
