ZONALITERASI.ID – Sebanyak 292 insan media mengikuti vaksinasi Covid-19 di Taman Sejarah Kota Bandung, Jumat (26/3/2021). Mereka berasal dari berbagai media yang biasa meliput di Kota Bandung.
Sekretaris Daerah Kota Bandung, Ema Sumarna, menuturkan, pemberian vaksinasi tahap kedua ini secara simultan diberikan tidak hanya kepada lansia saja tapi juga kepada pelayan publik. Salah satunya yaitu insan media.
Insan media merupakan salah satu garda terdepan khususnya dalam menyampaikan informasi kepada publik.
“Alhamdulillah ada 292 wartawan yang divaksin hari ini. Awak media juga termasuk garda terdepan yang menginformasikan tentang pencegahan Covid-19,” ujarnya saat meninjau vaksinasi.
Kepala Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) Kota Bandung, Ahyani Raksanegara, mengatakan, kegiatan vaksinasi ini merupakan rangkaian dari vaksinasi tahap kedua yaitu bagi lansia dan pelayan publik.
Sasaran di tahap kedua untuk pelayan publik yaitu sebanyak 144.000 orang.
“Kegiatan vaksinasi hari ini merupakan rangkaian dari vaksinasi tahap 2,” kata Ahyani.
Kabag Humas Kota Bandung, Sony Teguh Prasatya, menjelaskan, program vaksinasi Covid-19 yang difasilitasi oleh Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Bandung bagi insan media ini tidak terlepas dari dukungan, kerja sama, dan kolaborasi dari berbagai pihak.
Vaksinasi ini telah direncanakan dan merupakan bagian dari penanganan Covid-19 di Kota Bandung.
“Hasil kolaborasi dan kerja sama Dinas Kesehatan dan Humas Kota Bandung akhirnya bisa mewujudkan vaksinasi untuk kawan-kawan media. Ini juga berkat dorongan dari Wali kota, Wakil Wali Kota dan Sekda yang memberikan perhatian agar temen media segera divaksin,” kata Sony.
Sony menyebutkan, pada kegiatan vaksinasi ini juga didukung oleh elemen lainnya seperti pihak swasta, juga relawan dari Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Poltekkes Bandung, dan Ikatan Bidan Indonesia.
Sejumlah insan media menyampaikan apresiasinya kepada Pemkot Bandung khususnya Dinkes Kota Bandung dan Setda Humas Kota Bandung yang sudah memfasilitasi vaksinasi.
Penanggung Jawab Harian Umum Galamedia, Ati Suprihatin, menyampaikan terima kasih kepada Pemkot Bandung karena telah memberikan kesempatan kepada wartawan mendapatkan vaksin Covid-19.
“Wartawan termasuk pelayan publik di sektor informasi. Dalam menjalankan tugasnya, wartawan sangat rentan terpapar virus corona,” katanya.
