ZONALITERASI.ID – Salah satu lembaga pemeringkatan kampus dunia, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) pada 28 Juni 2023 mengeluarkan daftar peringkat perguruan tinggi dunia QS WUR (World University Ranking) 2024.

Lebih dari 20 kampus di Indonesia baik milik pemerintah maupun swasta masuk dalam daftar 1.500 terbaik dunia. Seperti diketahui Universitas Indonesia (UI) masih menjadi universitas terbaik di Indonesia pada QS WUR 2024.

Lalu bagaimana dengan perguruan tinggi swasta (PTS)? Berikut ini 7 PTS terbaik di Indonesia versi QS WUR 2024.

Indikator Peringkat

Tahun-tahun sebelumnya QS menyusun pemeringkatan berdasarkan sejumlah indikator yakni Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Faculty Student Ratio, Citations per Faculty, International Faculty Ratio, dan International Students Ratio.

Untuk QS WUR 2024, lembaga ini menambahkan tiga indikator pemeringkatan. Hasilnya didasarkan pada analisis dari 17,5 juta makalah akademik dan pendapat para ahli dari sekitar 240.000 fakultas akademik dan pengusaha.

3 Indikator Terbaru QS WUR

1. Keberlanjutan

Indikator ini telah menjadi titik sentuh bagi lembaga-lembaga global. Hal ini disebabkan karena mereka menyadari dampak mereka terhadap dunia, dan mahasiswa mengharapkan lembaga-lembaga tersebut untuk mengatasi masalah yang berkaitan dengan keadilan sosial dan iklim.

Oleh sebab itu, dalam peringkat QS WUR, telah menambahkan bobot sebesar lima persen pada lensa keberlanjutan dalam peringkat universitas dunia.

2. Hasil Pekerjaan

Selain itu, QS juga terus meningkatkan wawasannya akan keterampilan kerja. Dalam metodologi peringkat universitas, pentingnya keterampilan kerja yang dihasilkan menjadi salah satu indikator penting.

Oleh sebab itu, QS telah meningkatkan bobot reputasi pengusaha menjadi 15 persen dan menambahkan hasil pekerjaan sebesar lima persen.

3. Jaringan Riset Internasional

Indikator terbaru lainnya yang digunakan dalam pemeringkatan ini ialah jaringan riset internasional. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa riset memiliki peranan penting untuk mengubah dunia.

Jaringan riset internasional secara khusus memberikan wawasan tentang seberapa terhubung riset suatu lembaga secara internasional, serta mengakui pentingnya riset kolaboratif secara lebih luas. (des)***
