ZONALITERASI.ID – Sekretaris Jenderal Federasi Serikat Guru Indonesia (FSGI), Heru Purnomo, meminta seluruh kepala daerah menjatuhkan sanksi pada jajaran birokrasi jika ditemukan manipulasi data kependudukan untuk keperluan Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) zonasi.

Pernyataan itu disampaikan Sekretaris Jenderal FSGI, Heru Purnomo, menanggapi kasus manipulasi data kependudukan untuk kepentingan mendaftar PPDB jalur zonasi, yang disampaikan oleh Wali Kota Bogor Bima Arya.

“Manipulasi data dengan cara pindah Kartu Keluarga (KK) tidak akan terjadi jika sistem kependudukan di daerah sudah melalui mekanisme kontrol aparat kelurahan, kecamatan, maupun Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil,” kata Heru, dalam siaran pers, Senin, 10 Juli 2023 .

“Kemendikbudristek sudah menerapkan kebijakan PPDB sistem zonasi sejak tahun 2017, dan kecurangan seharusnya bisa diantisipasi jika pengawasan di daerah sudah baik,” tandasnya.

Selanjutnya Heru menuturkan, pemerintah daerah (pemda) harus lebih kreatif dalam menerapkan PPDB dengan sistem zonasi.

Saat PPDB zonasi diterapkan, katanya, jika belum memungkinkan untuk menambah sekolah, maka sejumlah daerah menginisiasi berbagai cara untuk memenuhi hak atas pendidikan, misalnya Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta yang menerapkan PPDB bersama SMA dan SMK swasta yang pembiayaan peserta didik baru hingga lulus ditanggung melalui APBD.

“Selain itu, Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Utara juga telah menerapkan zonasi khusus bagi calon peserta didik baru yang di zona tempat tinggalnya tidak ada sekolah negeri,” tuturnya.

Menurut dia, sejak diberlakukan PPDB zonasi, permasalahan kependudukan dan penyebaran sekolah yang tidak merata perlahan mulai bisa diatasi.

“Seiring waktu, permasalahan kependudukan dan penyebaran sekolah yang tidak merata sudah dapat diatasi dengan baik oleh sejumlah daerah, yakni dengan memperkuat sistem di Dukcapil agar tidak terjadi manipulasi terkait data kependudukan,” tuturnya.

Heru menambahkan, saat ini mayoritas publik sudah dapat menerima PPDB sistem zonasi.

“Meskipun masih ada kekurangan, harus diakui bahwa sistem ini jauh lebih berkeadilan, serta mendorong pemerintah pusat dan daerah untuk membangun sekolah negeri baru, tanpa membunuh sekolah swasta yang sudah berkontribusi lama bagi pendidikan selama ini,” katanya.

“Pemerintah pusat melalui APBN juga menganggarkan pembangunan sekolah negeri jika pemerintah daerah mengusulkan dan memiliki lahan yang sesuai standar nasional pendidikan. Ini bentuk kolaborasi yang harus terus berjalan dan patut didukung,” pungkas Heru. (haf)***
