PBNU Desak Kemenag Segera Bentuk Ditjen Pesantren

Ketua Tanfidziyah PBNU, Nasyirul Falah Amru, mendesak agar Kemenag segera memiliki Ditjen pesantren, (Ilustrasi: Hidayatuna).

ZONALITERASI.ID – Ketua Tanfidziyah Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU), Nasyirul Falah Amru atau Gus Falah, mendesak agar Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) segera memiliki direktorat jenderal (Ditjen) pesantren.

Desakan Gus Falah itu selaras dengan Undang Undang Nomor 18 Tahun 2019 tentang Pesantren, yang mengamanatkan pemerintah untuk memberikan rekognisi, afirmasi, serta memfasilitasi pesantren.

“Pesantren harus diberi kekhususan oleh negara karena memang memiliki keunikan tersendiri. Dari sisi kurikulum saja misalnya, pesantren relatif independen dari campur tangan negara. Mutu pendidikan pesantren juga khan dimonitoring Majelis Masyayikh, bukan Badan Akreditasi Nasional (BAN) seperti lembaga pendidikan lainnya, maka di sinilah pentingnya Ditjen Pesantren,” ujar Gus Falah, dalam keterangan tertulisnya, Senin, 7 Agustus 2023.

Menurutnya, tujuan pendidikan pesantren ada tiga aspek, yakni dakwah, pendidikan, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Tiga hal tersebut tak ditemukan dalam lembaga pendidikan nonpesantren yang konvensional.

“Jadi berdasarkan fakta tersebut, dan apalagi sudah dimandatkan oleh undang-undang, seharusnya proses pembentukan ditjen pesantren tak ditunda, bahkan harus disegerakan,” ucapnya.

“Apalagi jumlah pesantren sekarang sudah sangat banyak, yang berdasarkan data Kemenag mencapai 38.926 pesantren, dengan jumlah santri sekitar empat juta orang, maka direktorat khusus pesantren memang menjadi kebutuhan,” tambah Gus Falah.

Perlu Pembahasan Lebih Lanjut

Menteri Agama (Menag) RI, Yaqut Cholil Qoumas (Gus Yaqut) mengatakan, Peraturan Presiden (Perpres) Nomor 12 Tahun 2023 tentang Kementerian Agama (Kemenag), ada beberapa hal yang memerlukan pembahasan yang lebih lanjut terkait dengan struktur organisasi, termasuk soal pembentukan Direktorat Jenderal (Ditjen) Pesantren.

Menurut Gus Yaqut, Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) telah mengamanahkan kepada dirinya untuk segera mendiskusikan dengan Men-PANRB, Abdullah Azwar Anas.

“Jadi kami beberapa kali menyampaikan langsung kepada bapak presiden terkait dengan posisi Ditjen Pesantren misalnya, kami sampaikan, dan beliau pada waktu itu memang mengamanahkan untuk segera didiskusikan dengan Pak Menpan RB,” ujar Gus Yaqut, saat konferensi pers bersama Men-PANRB di kantor Kemenag, Lapangan Banteng, Jakarta Pusat, pekan lalu.

Sejak lama, menurut Gus Yaqut, pihaknya pun telah menyampaikan kepada MenPANRB terkait pembentukan Ditjen Pesantren. Namun, nyatanya, hingga saat ini Ditjen Pesantren yang sudah diusulkan ini belum bisa diwujudkan.

“Kami sudah bicara dengan Pak Menpan RB, almarhum Cahyo Kumolo dan memang masih belum mendapatkan persetujuan dan kemarin beberapa waktu lalu ketika berdiskusi di Kemenpan RB hal ini sudah disampaikan lagi dan barusan tadi Pak Menpan RB juga memberikan arahan-arahan terkait dengan bagaimana agar Ditjen Pesantren ini bisa terus kita wujudkan,” ucap Yaqut.

Sementara itu, Men-PANRB, Abdullah Azwar Anas, mengakui, Ditjen Pesantren sampai saat ini masih belum bisa terwujud. Karena, menurut dia, pembentukan direktorat baru ini masih memerlukan izin atau ketentuan.

“Yang soal Dirjen Pesantren memang ini perlu goodwill, saya kira kami perlu ketemu Pak Pratik (Menteri Sekretaris Negara Pratikno) sekali lagi baiknya seperti apa nanti. Karena memang belum ada preseden pembentukan Dirjen baru ya, sehingga dia perlu goodwill. Nanti kami siapkan beberapa kajiannya. Kalau udah goodwill ya ini tentu akan menjadi legacy, kira-kira dihitung dampak negatif positif dan seterusnya,” kata Azwar Anas. (haf)***
