ZONALITERASI.ID – Forum Aksi Guru Indonesia (FAGI) Jawa Barat memprotes keras langkah yang dilakukan Komite Sekolah yang memecat guru honorer. Komite Sekolah tidak berwenang memecat guru, karena guru itu bertanggung jawab kepada sekolah dan kepala sekolah.
“FAGI memprotes tindakan arogan pihak Komite Sekolah di salah satu SMP di Sukra, Kabupaten Indramayu yang memecat guru honorer. Ga ada keputusan Komite Sekolah bisa memecat guru, karena guru itu bertanggung jawab kepada sekolah dan kepala sekolah,” kata Ketua FAGI Jabar, Iwan Hermawan, dikutip pojoksatu.id, Kamis (27/8/2020).
Menurut Iwan, yang berhak melakukan pemecatan atau pemberhentian itu hanya kepala sekolah. Guru honorer itu, lanjutnya, diangkat melalui SK kepala sekolah.
“Komite Sekolah enggak berhak melakukan pemecatan. Tugas Komite Sekolah menjadi penghubung antara sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat sekitar sekolah, guna mendukung proses belajar mengajar,” terangnya.
Ditambahkan Iwan, FAGI Jabar akan berkoordinasi dengan PGRI Jabar untuk memberikan advokasi kepada guru honorer di Indramayu ini.
Diberitakan sebelumnya, Surdadi, guru honorer SMPN 1 Sukra Kabupaten Indramayu dipecat Komite Sekolah setelah mengkritisi dugaan pungli dengan dalih infak di tempatnya mengajar.
Peristiwa itu mengundang reaksi keras banyak pihak. Dewan Pendidikan dan Dinas Pendidikan (Disdik) Kabupaten Indramayu pun turun tangan menyelesaikan kasus ini.
Menurut Surdadi, pemecatan dirinya berawal setelah ia menentang keputusan pungutan sekolah yang melakukan pungutan sebesar Rp 1.000 per siswa pada setiap hari Rabu dan Jumat.
Ia meminta kepala sekolah agar menyampaikan secara terbuka besarnya uang pungutan yang diterima berikut penggunaannya dipasang di majalah dinding sekolah.
“Maksud saya agar siswa dan orang tua tahu bahwa pungutan itu benar-benar dimanfaatkan untuk kepentingan sekolah, ” ujarnya, Kamis (27/8/2020)
Alih-alih direspons positif, langkah Surdadi malah terhenti saat Komite Sekolah menerbitkan surat pemberhentian dirinya sebagai guru honorer di sekolah tersebut. (des)***
