Sebelumnya, tim ini sukses memecahkan rekor angklung terbesar di dunia, di Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta, Sabtu, 5 Agustus 2023.
Kepala Sekretariat/Staf Binamuda Kwarcab Pramuka Kota Bandung, Sri Oktapia Juwita, mengatakan, dalam acara bertajuk ‘Indonesia Day’ yang digelar di tengah Jambore Pramuka Dunia, anggota Pramuka Kota Bandung akan memainkan angklung.
Acara tersebut akan disaksikan langsung oleh Ketua Kwartir Daerah Gerakan Pramuka Jawa Barat, Atalia Praratya dan Ketua Kwarcab Pramuka Kota Bandung, Ridlo Eisy.
“Saya berharap tim angklung ini mampu menginspriasi organisasi pramuka lebih semangat. Dari kebudayaan tentunya bisa membawa nama baik Kota Bandung melalui pengenalan budaya bahwa Kota Bandung sebagai Kota Angklung,” ungkap Sri, Senin, 7 Agustus 2023.
Misi Budaya
Diketahui, Jambore Pramuka Dunia merupakan salah satu kegiatan kepanduan dunia yang diikuti oleh berbagai pramuka dari seluruh dunia. Tahun ini, Jambore Pramuka Dunia ke-25 dijadwalkan berlangsung selama 1-12 Agustus 2023 di Korea Selatan selaku tuan umah.
Menurut Sri, sebagai perwakilan dari Indonesia dalam event itu, Kota Bandung mengirimkan 57 peserta, pembina pendamping 5, dan International Service Team atau IST 9 orang.
“Adapun yang memainkan angklung sebanyak 56 orang dengan memainkan 2 angklung masing-masing. Pesertanya dari SMA Krida Nusantara, SMP Taruna Bakti, SMPN 5 Bandung, SMPN 14 Bandung, SMPN 31 Bandung, SMP Salaman Al Farisi, dan campuran berbasis teritorial. Sedangkan lagu yang akan dibawakan yaitu Manuk Dadali dan membawakan juga lagu I Have A Dream (Westlife),” katanya.
Sri menambahkan, kegiatan jambore tersebut akan memperkenalkan budaya setiap negara. Sehingga para peserta bisa mengetahui budaya tiap negara.
“Kegiatan di sana konteksnya luas. Lebih mengedepankan kultur negara. Intinya lebih kepada pengenalan negara dan budaya khasnya. Kota Bandung membawa misi memperkenalkan alat musik angkung khas Paris Van Java,” imbuhnya. (haf)***
