ZONALITERASI.ID – Dirjen Pendidikan Islam (Pendis) Kementerian Agama (Kemenag), Prof. Dr. H. Muhammad Ali Ramdhani, S.T.P., M.T., mengancam akan melakukan tindakan tegas terhadap oknum yang melakukan praktik pungutan liar (pungli) dalam proses pendataan pendidikan Islam.
Ancaman ini dilontarkan Dirjen Pendidikan Islam menyikapi terbitnya Surat Edaran Nomor 734 Tahun 2023 tentang Larangan Pungutan atas Penyelenggaraan Pendataan Pendidikan Islam di Lingkungan Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia. Surat edaran ini terbit pada 9 Agustus 2023.
“Oknum bersangkutan akan dilakukan pembinaan, peringatan, dan tindakan lainnya sesuai dengan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku,” tandas Prof. Ali Ramdhani, dilansir dari laman Kemenag, Kamis, 10 Agustus 2023.
Diketahui, Ditjen Pendidikan Islam mengembangkan Education Management Information System (EMIS) sebagai pusat sistem informasi data pendidikan binaan Kementerian Agama. Data ini menjadi dasar kebijakan dan sumber informasi publik.
Edaran Dirjen Pendidikan Islam mengatur larangan pungutan dalam bentuk apapun yang bertentangan dengan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku.
“Untuk menciptakan ekosistem pendataan pendidikan Islam yang bersih dan berintegritas, dilarang adanya pungutan dalam bentuk apapun yang bertentangan dengan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku, baik proses pemasukan (input) data, persetujuan (approvel) data, pemutakhiran (update) data hingga rangkaian akhir dari proses pendataan,” ujar Prof. Ali Ramdhani.
Sekretaris Ditjen Pendidikan Islam, Dr. H. Rohmat Mulyana, M.Pd. mengatakan, EMIS merupakan gerbang data pendidikan keagamaan di lingkungan Kemenag. Oleh karenanya, perlu kerjasama semua pihak dalam pengembangannya.
Pengelolaan EMIS, lanjutnya, dilakukan secara sinergis mulai dari satuan kerja Ditjen Pendidikan Islam, satuan kerja Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN), satuan kerja Kanwil Kemenag Provinsi, satuan kerja Kantor Kemenag Kabupaten/Kota, hingga lembaga pendidikan Islam di bawah naungan Ditjen Pendidikan Islam.
