ZONALITERASI.ID – Gubernur Jawa Barat, Ridwan Kamil, memastikan semua atlet telah divaksin sebelum Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XX dan Pekan Paralimpiade Nasional (Peparnas) XVI pada 2-15 Oktober 2021 di Papua.
Saat ini para atlet sedang fokus menyiapkan diri jelang perhelatan olahraga tingkat nasional. Vaksinasi massal bagi para atlet merupakan komitmen Pemda Provinsi Jawa Barat untuk memberikan ketenangan dalam berlatih dan keselamatan saat pertandingan nanti.
Hal itu dikatakan Gubernur saat meninjau vaksinasi massal kepada 1.431 atlet dari Komite Olahraga Nasional Indonesia (KONI) Jabar dan National Paralympic Committee Indonesia (NPCI) Jabar di Sport Arcamanik, Kota Bandung, Senin (5/4/2021) pagi.
“Ini merupakan komitmen kami kepada para atlet terbaik se-Jabar jumlahnya total 1.431 supaya mereka tenang dalam berlatih. Sudah diputuskan PON akan diselenggarakan tahun ini di Papua, kita sudah bekerja keras,” ujarnya.
Gubernur menuturkan, akan mempercepat proses vaksinasi untuk para atlet yang belum mendapatkan jatah divaksin. Maka dari itu vaksinasi massal yang digelar di Sport Jabar Arcamanik ini jadi solusi.
“Sehingga vaksinasi massal ini kita lakukan baik atlet yang ada di KONI maupun yang ada di NPCI, dua-duanya kita fasilitasi dengan baik penyelenggaraan dilaksanakan 2-3 hari,” ucapnya.
“Oleh karena itu dukungan pemerintah yang sudah dilakukan atau yang belum akan secepatnya kita proses agar persiapan PON ini maksimal,” tambahnya.
Gubernur meminta pihak KONI dan NPCI untuk mempertahankan gelar juara bertahan yang didapatkan Provinsi Jabar pada PON 2016 di Bandung.
“Kami sudah menghitung dan menargetkan agar bisa mempertahankan gelar juara bertahan,” harapnya.
Terkait ketersediaan stok vaksin tahap 1 untuk atlet ini, Gubernur memastikan kebutuhan per harinya masih cukup dan secepatnya akan dihabiskan.
“Kita masih menunggu suplai dari pemerintah pusat. Tapi per hari ini masih cukup sehingga kita akan habiskan secepatnya apalagi yang dosis kedua waktunya sudah berdatangan,” tuturnya.
“Sehingga kita akan selenggarakan penyuntikan tahap dua untuk menghabiskan tahap satu,” pungkas Gubernur. (kur)***
