ZONALITERASI.ID – Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) mulai mencairkan Dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) untuk Pesantren Tahun Anggaran 2024 pada pekan ini. Jumlah Dana BOS Pesantren untuk Tahap I mencapai Rp220 miliar.
Selain Dana BOS Pesantren, Kemenag telah menyalurkan Dana Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) Pesantren sebesar Rp50 miliar.
Plt Direktur Pendidikan Diniyah dan Pondok Pesantren (PD Pontren) pada Ditjen Pendidikan Islam, Waryono Abdul Ghafur, menyebutkan, Ditjen Pendidikan Islam Kemenag mengalokasikan anggaran BOS Pesantren sebesar Rp340,5 miliar pada tahun ini. Rinciannya, sebesar Rp28,017 miliar untuk Pesantren Ula (setara Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/MI), Rp178,970 miliar untuk Pesantren Wustha (setara Madrasah Tsanawiyah/MTs), dan Rp133,511 miliar untuk jenjang ‘Ulya (setara Madrasah Aliyah/MA).
“Minggu ini pihak Pesantren dapat melakukan proses pencairan dengan membawa tanda bukti persyaratan pencairan BOS sesuai juknis ke bank yang telah ditentukan,” kata Waryono, dilansir dari laman Kemenag, Kamis, 25 April 2024.
Ia menambahkan, program BOS Pesantren adalah salah satu bukti kehadiran negara terhadap pesantren yang selama ini terus memberikan perhatian.
“Dana BOS harus dibelanjakan dan digunakan dengan baik dan optimal. Penggunaannya juga harus tepat dan akuntabel. Prioritaskan untuk kebutuhan mendasar pesantren,” ujar Waryono.
Kasubdit Pendidikan Kesetaraan pada Direktorat PD Pontren, Anis Masykhur, menuturkan, Dana BOS Pesantren disalurkan kepada lembaga Pendidikan Diniyah Formal (PDF), satuan Pendidikan Muadalah (SPM), dan Pesantren Salafiyah penyelenggaran Pendidikan Kesetaraan (PKPPS).
“Pemberian dana BOS Pesantren bertujuan membantu biaya operasional penyelenggaraan pendidikan pesantren dalam rangka peningkatan akses santri, dan juga membantu peningkatan mutu pembelajaran dan pemenuhan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (SNP) yang menjadi tanggung jawab satuan Pendidikan,” tuturnya.
Adapun untuk Dana PIP, tambah Anis, diperuntukkan bagi santri berprestasi namun berasal dari keluarga harapan (PKH).
“PIP bertujuan membantu para santri agar terhindar dari putus sekolah atau ngaji,” pungkasnya. (des)***
