ZONALITERASI.ID – Ketua DPRD Kabupaten Pangandaran, Asep Noordin, menyoroti keberadaan sungai Majingklak, salah satu potensi wisata di kawasan itu. Alur sungai Majingklak menjadi daya tarik yang luar biasa dan bisa dikembangkan menjadi tempat wisata.
“Alur sungai dan muara menjadi potensi tempat wisata yang menarik. Memang, alur sungai Majingklak ke Cilacap ini sangat luar biasa keindahannya. Itu, seperti di sungai Amazon. Karena, habitatnya masih bagus, banyak burung-burung dan pohon-pohonnya masih bagus,” kata Asep Noordin, baru-baru ini.
Diketahui, sungai Majingklak berlokasi di Desa Pamotan, Kecamatan Kalipucang. Desa ini berada di perbatasan langsung dengan Kabupaten Cilacap Jawa Tengah.
Desa Pamotan merupakan gerbang lalu lintas wisatawan maupun masyarakat dari Jawa Tengah ke Jawa Barat. Selain memiliki sungai yang indah, di desa ini juga terdapat pelabuhan Majingklak.
Menurut Asep, melihat potensi ini, wilayah Desa Pamotan (pelabuhan Majingklak) masuk dalam program percepatan pembangunan Jabar selatan yang tercantum dalam Peraturan Presiden (Perpres).
“Sebelumnya, pelabuhan Majingklak pernah dikembangkan ketika ada kapal feri dari Kalipucang Pangandaran ke Cilacap. Saya melihat, pemerintah pusat sudah mempunyai perencanaan bahwa pelabuhan Majingklak ini bisa menjadi satu akses pintu masuk dan pintu keluar dari Jawa Tengah ke Jawa Barat,” ujar Asep.
Asep menuturkan, selain sungai Majingklak, di Desa Pamotan juga terdapat sungai Citanduy, Palatar Agung, Solok Timur, dan Nusa Were.
Menurutnya, semua potensi wisata itu masuk syarat dengan potensi kepariwisataan.
“Ini hanya tinggal bagaimana membuka tempat pariwisata khususnya di bagian timur Pangandaran,” tuturnya.
Melihat potensi yang dimiliki Desa Pamotan, Asep menegaskan, harus ada aksesibilitas yang menyambungkan tempat wisata Karang Nini, Karapyak, Palatar Agung, dan Majingklak.
“Ini menjadi perhatian pemerintah daerah. Karena, potensi wisata di Pangandaran bagian timur ini akan terbuka lebar. Sehingga, kalau konektifitas akses tempat wisata ini dibangun tentu para investor dengan sendirinya akan datang untuk pengembangan kepariwisataan di Pangandaran bagian timur atau wilayah Kecamatan Kalipucang,” pungkas Asep.
