ZONALITERASI.ID – Wakil Gubernur (Wagub) Jawa Barat (Jabar) Uu Ruzhanul Ulum mendampingi Menteri Kesehatan (Menkes) RI Budi Gunadi Sadikin meluncurkan sekaligus meninjau Gebyar Vaksinasi COVID-19 bagi Lansia di RSUD Otto Iskandardinata, Kabupaten Bandung, Selasa (18/5/2021).
Pak Uu –sapaan Wagub Jabar– mengapresiasi gebyar vaksinasi tersebut. Menurutnya, kegiatan itu dapat memperluas cakupan dan mempercepat pelaksanaan vaksinasi COVID-19 bagi lansia di Jabar. Apalagi, jumlah lansia yang menjadi sasaran vaksinasi sekitar 4,5 juta orang.
“Maka saya ucapkan terima kasih dengan kedatangan ini InsyaAllah memberikan daya dorong untuk suksesnya vaksinasi lansia di Jawa Barat,” kata Pak Uu.
Pak Uu pun meminta masyarakat Jabar untuk sama-sama menyukseskan vaksinasi bagi lansia. Salah satunya dengan mendaftarkan, mengantar, dan menemani orang tua yang sudah lansia untuk mendapatkan vaksin COVID-19.
“Makanya saya minta pada keluarga, anak, saudara ataupun yang lain yang hubungan dekat keluarga dengan orang tua yang sudah lansia untuk mengantar. Kalau perlu, setelah itu dikasih hiburan, dikasih apa sehingga mereka ingin divaksin,” ucapnya.
Selain itu, Pak Uu juga mengapresiasi Pemerintah Kabupaten Bandung yang terus berinovasi mempercepat penyuntikan vaksin COVID-19 kepada lansia. Salah satu inovasi tersebut yakni bekerja sama dengan swasta untuk menyediakan transportasi antar-jemput lansia yang akan disuntik vaksin COVID-19.
“Kemudian juga ada inovasi dari kabupaten Bandung adanya kebersamaan dengan Traveloka. Kenapa tidak diikuti gaya-gaya ini oleh kabupaten-kabupaten lain, sehingga vaksinasi di Jawa Barat bisa sesuai dengan target yang diharapkan,” tuturnya.
Menkes RI Budi Gunadi Sadikin intens mendorong Jabar untuk mempercepat pelaksanaan vaksinasi COVID-19. Sebagai daerah dengan jumlah penduduk terbanyak di Indonesia, target sasaran vaksinasi di Jabar pun sangat banyak.
“Jawa Barat perlu meningkatkan segera menjadi 230.000 (penyuntikan) per hari untuk mengejar target,” kata Budi.
Budi pun mengajak para lansia untuk turut menyukseskan vaksinasi COVID-19. Selain itu, ia mengimbau kepada masyarakat untuk konsisten menerapkan protokol kesehatan dengan ketat. (kur)***
