ZONALITERASI.ID – Seminggu bertugas sebagai Direktur Kampus UPI Cibiru, Prof. Dr. Deni Darmawan, S.Pd., M.Si., MCE., merasakan suasana yang luar biasa.

Prof. Deni meyakini, selepas dilantik sebagai direktur oleh Rektor UPI, Prof. Dr. H. M. Solehuddin, M.Pd., M.A., Jumat, 28 Juli 2023, menuntut dedikasi dan integritas yang tinggi. Salah satunya adalah bagaimana membawa Kampus UPI Cibiru menjadi “Kampus Digital” yang mampu bersaing dan memenangkan kompetensi dalam berbagai aspek dalam memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat pendidikan.

“Tentunya, cita-cita tersebut tidaklah mudah dan tidak hanya dapat diucapkan dengan kata-kata namun harus dimulai dengan strategi yang tepat dan adaftif, serta harus memiliki kapabilitas dalam bidang digitalisasi yang dimaksud. Sebagai langkah awal misalnya, bagaimana seorang pimpinan Kampus UPI Cibiru dapat memulainya dengan melakukan analisa dan ekspos terhadap peluang dari sumber daya dan kekuatan kewilayahan,” kata Prof. Deni, Senin, 14 Agustus 2023.

“Kewilayahan yang dimaksud adalah kewilayahan yang sama dan benar-benar memiliki kapabilitas dalam pembangunan masyarakat melalui filosofis dan program kerja yang didukung oleh digitalisasi sistem yang diterapkan. Sebagaimana yang telah dilakukan oleh pemerintahan di wilayah Cibiru Wetan, Kecamatan Cileunyi, Kabupaten Bandung. Desa ini adalah salah satu wakil dari Indonesia dalam program Kerjasama Desa Se-Asean dalam kategori Desa Digital. Selain itu, Desa Cibiru Wetan meraih prestasi sebagai Desa Antikorupsi,” sambungnya.

Respons Luar Biasa

Prof. Deni mengatakan, ketika dikunjungi oleh Jajaran Pimpinan Kampus UPI Cibiru, baru-baru ini, respons dari Kepala Desa Cibiru Wetan, Hadiana Supriatna sangat luar biasa.

“Ketika kami menggali sejumlah informasi dan potensi kerjasama dalam Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi, ternyata civitas kampus dapat belajar banyak dari sejumlah prestasi yang telah diraih oleh Desa Cibiru Wetan ini. Itu sangat berkorelasi dengan visi dan misi dari program pimpinan Kampus UPI Cibiru yang sedang berupaya memulai dengan strategi digitalisasi dalam tata kelola manajemen Kampus secara Digital,” ujarnya.

Pada pertemuan tersebut Direktur Kampus UPI Cibiru memperkenalkan Multiplatform TVUPI Mobile Android yang langsung diinstal dan ditayangkan acaranya oleh Kepala Desa Cibiru Wetan.

Prof. Deni menuturkan, korelasi ini diharapkan mampu membangun chemistry yang positif dan hangat.

“Civitas UPI Kampus Cibiru bisa menunjukkan perannya, baik bagi masyarakat Cibiru Wetan maupun masyarakat pendidikan yang lebih luas di wilayah lainnya. Mengingat selama ini yang menjadi beberapa keunggulan dari Kampus UPI CIbiru adalah bidang Penyediaan Guru Sekolah Dasar dan Pendidikan Usia Dini, Robotic dan Multimedia, serta Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak,” kata Prof. Deni yang juga alumni SPG Negeri I Bandung yang kini menjadi kampus UPI Cibiru.
