ZONALITERASI.ID – Pimpinan Wilayah Gerakan Pemuda Ansor Jawa Barat menerbitkan buku Pemuda Nahdoh; Sejarah Awal GP Ansor Jawa Barat 1934-1941, pada Agustus 2023. Pemuda Nahdoh artinya pemuda bangkit yang mengacu kepada membantu para kiai yang waktu itu sedang bangkit untuk berjuang mempersiapkan kemerdekaan dan mempertahankan Ahlussunah wal Jamaah.

Buku Pemuda Nahdoh memotret sejarah GP Ansor pada awal berdiri pada masa 1930-an, yaitu tentang perintisan, proses berdiri, serta pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya di beberapa cabang.

Ketua PW GP Ansor Jawa Barat, H. Deni Ahmad Haedari, mengatakan, buku Pemuda Nahdoh ini mengisi kekosongan tentang sejarah pemuda NU pada era kolonial Belanda.

Selama ini, kata dia, GP Ansor di Jawa Barat seolah kehilangan jejak tentang bagaimana organisasi ini lahir dan dikembangkan para kiai.

“Hari ini memang kita selalu selalu mengganggap bahwa kita memiliki sejarah organisasi dan pendahulu yang hebat. Namun pada dasarnya itu klaim karena kita tak mampu membuktikannya. Kita buta apa kehebatannya, siapa pendahulunya,” katanya, di kantor PW GP Ansor Jawa Barat, Jalan Terusan Galunggung No 9, Kota Bandung, Minggu, 20 Agustus 2023.

“Dengan hadirnya buku ini, kita jadi mengerti sepak terjang organisasi dan para pendahulu kita yang memang ternyata hebat. Jadi, melalui buku ini anggapan organisasi dan para pendahulu kita di masa lalu hebat itu bukanlah klaim, tapi fakta,” sambungnya.

Menurut Deni, mungkin jika dilihat dari konteks hari ini kehebatan itu tidak seberapa, tapi ingat sejarah harus dilihat pada konteksnya. Para pendahulu menjalankan organisasi berada dalam proses pertumbuhan dalam situasi sulit. Mereka berhadapan dengan tangan-tangan kolonial Belanda yang penuh dengan refresi dan pembatasan-pembatasan yang berdamapak baik secara fisik maupun psikis.

“Namun mereka membuktikan, mampu bertahan hidup dan menjalankan organisasi dalam situasi seperti itu. Tak sekadar bertahan, tapi mampu melahirkan kader orang-orang yang berperan pada masa selanjutnya,” tegasnya.

Ketua Umum Pimpinan Pusat GP Ansor, H. Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, juga menyampaikan sambutannya pada bagian awal buku Pemuda Nahdoh. Menurut dia, setidaknya, ada 2 hal yang mesti diambil dari buku ini. Pertama, buku ini sebagai dokumentasi sejarah para pendahulu kita secara organisasi.

Kedua, sejarah hanyalah tinggal cerita kalau hanya sekadar dibaca. Sejarah harus menjadi titik pijak untuk menambah, memperkuat, dan mengobarkan kembali semangat Ansor yang selama ini telah terbangun, yaitu sebagai penolong diri, para ajengan, dan sesama. Selain itu, tidak menggantungkan diri kepada pihak manapun.
