ZONALITERASI.ID – Perguruan tinggi negeri (PTN) dan perguriun tinggi swasta (PTS) di Indonesia masuk dalam pemeringkatan Webometrics Rank 2021. Pemeringkatan Webometrics diumumkan dua kali dalam setahun, yaitu setiap Januari dan Juli.

Webometrics merupakan organisasi pemeringkatan perguruan tinggi seluruh dunia. Pemeringkatan telah dilakukan sejak Juli 2012. Sistemnya menilai seluruh universitas di dunia melalui website universitas tersebut.

Sebagai satu lembaga pemeringkatan universitas terbaik, setiap tahun mereka melakukan ranking lebih dari 30.000 perguruan tinggi dari 200 negara, tentu ada indikator yang menentukan kelayakan suatu kampus dianggap mampu bersaing dengan kampus lain.

Ada tiga indikator dalam menilai dan menentukan ranking universitas terbaik di dunia. Indikator ini: Visibility atau impact Tranparency atau openness Excellence.
