ZONALITERASI.ID – Saung Angklung Udjo didirikan pada 1967 oleh Udjo Ngalagena dan sang istri, Uum Sumiati Udjo. Di padepokan yang beralamat di Jalan Padasuka No.118, Pasirlayung, Kecamaan Cibeunying Kidul, Kota Bandung ini, musik angklung dilestarikan. Nama Udjo sendiri diambil dari nama pendiri sekaligus pemilik tempat ini.
Berdirinya padepokan ini juga tidak lepas dari bantuan dan dorongan Daeng Soetigna, tokoh angklung yang juga guru dari Mang Udjo, sapaan Udjo Ngalagena.
Selain tempatnya yang sangat khas dengan ornamen yang serba bambu, tempat ini juga dikelilingi rumah-rumah penduduk. Saung Angklung Udjo menawarkan daya tarik wisata dengan menampilkan pertunjukan angklung dan demonstrasi berbagai kesenian Sunda lainnya yang dibawakan oleh kelompok anak-anak setempat.
Aktivitas di Saung Angklung Udjo
Meski Mang Udjo telah meninggal pada 3 Mei 2001, tetapi Saung Angklung Udjo tetap dilestarikan oleh sepuluh anaknya. Hingga kini Saung Angklung Undjo menjadi tempat untuk mengedukasikan seni dan budaya angklung kepada para wisatawan lokal maupun mancanegara.
Berikut ini berbagai aktivitas yang dijalankan di Saung Angklung Udjo:
1) Wayang Golek
Jika Anda mengunjungi Saung Angklung Udjo, akan menjumpai pertunjukan wayang golek sebagai salah satu kebudayaan dan kesenian di daerah Sunda. Wayang golek merupakan bentuk kesenian dari sandiwara boneka kayu khas Sunda yang juga dilengkapi dengan kostumnya. Biasanya pertunjukan wayang golek ditampilkan pada sesi pembukaan ketika ada acara atraksi yang diadakan pada hari-hati tertentu.
Pertunjukan wayang golek tersebut mengandung pesan moral yang bisa dipetik oleh para pengunjung. Durasi dari aksi wayang golek ini sekitar 20 menit yang akan disambung dengan kegiatan kesenian yang lainnya.
2) Helaran
Helaran merupakan bentuk upacara khitan dan upacara panen padi di daerah Sunda. Atraksi ini diadakan untuk menghibur dan mengungkapkan rasa syukur. Bentuk dari kesenian ini mengandung unsur semangat dan ceria sehingga musiknya juga sangat bahagia.
3) Tari Topeng
Tari Topeng menjadi pertujukkan wajib yang dihadirkan setiap hari di wisata Saung Angklung Udjo. Tarian ini mengisahkan seorang pembawa berita dari Majapahit yang menyelidiki kasus di situs kerajaan Blambangan.
Dalam tarian tersebut juga diceriterakan seorang penari yang membawakan berita dengan menyamar menggunakan topeng. Itu dilakukan agar seorang penari terlihat seperti seorang pria yang gagah dalam melawan prabu Menakjingga.
4) Angklung Orkestra
Angklung orkestra dimainkan bersama para pementas yang mampu menghasilkan suara sangat indah, disertai alunan musik yang dibarengi dengan tarian Jawa yang sangat luwes. Lagu yang dibawakan dengan alat musik angklung saat pertunjukan yaitu twinkle little star, balonka, dan lagu daerah lainnya.
5) Bermain Angklung Bersama
Selain melihat pertujukkan orkestra angklung, pengunjung juga bisa bermain angklung bersama. Pengunjung diajak bermain angklung bersama anak-anak yang mengajarinya. Setiap pengunjung akan dipinjami satu angklung untuk dimainkan dengan aba-aba yang diberikan.
Angklung digoyangkan saat dirjen memberikan kode untuk menggerakan tangannya. Sebelum bermain maka pengunjung akan diajari membunyikan angklung dengan cara yang benar.
6) Menari Bersama
Kegiatan berikutnya yaitu menari bersama tarian khas Jawa Barat. Pengunjung bisa mengikuti gerakan yang diajarkan oleh para penari. Kegiatan menari bersama bertujuan untuk mengedukasi anak-anak agar lebih mengenal kebudayaan Sunda yang sangat menyenangkan.
Biasanya kegiatan menari bersama dilakukan pada setiap akhir sesi acara, dengan jadwal pertunjukkan yang telah ditentukkan.
7) Wisata Kuliner Dapoer Angklung
Anda juga bisa menikmati wisata kuliner di Saung Angklung Udjo karena di tempat wisata ini terdapat beragam kuliner di Dapoer Angklung. Makanan yang tersaji seperti batagor dan somay Bandung. Tak hanya itu ada beberapa makanan barat yang juga sangat lezat.
8) Belanja Souvenir
Saung Angklung Udjo juga dapat digunakan untuk belanja Souvenir. Di tempat wisata ini terdapat ruangan khusus yang digunakan untuk tempat souvenir dari Sunda, seperti gantungan kunci, kipas, kaos, sandal, gelang, tas, dan replika angklung.
9) Foto-foto
Keasrian alam yang ada di sekitar Saung Angklung Udjo memberikan spot foto yang sangat bagus. Pengunjung dapat menikmati lingkungan di sekitarnya dengan mengambil foto. Situasi di sekitar Saung membuat pengunjung menikmati suasana di pedesaan yang sangat asri.
10) Bernyanyi Bersama
Dibarengi dengan bermain angklung para pengunjung juga bisa bernyanyi bersama dengan anak-anak pemain angklung. Biasanya lagu yang dinyanyikan yaitu lagu daerah.
Di Saung Angklung Udjo juga dilengkapi ‘Buruan Sari Asih’ sebagai tempat untuk bersantai menikmati suasana di lingkungan sekitar Sunda. Kemudian juga terdapat tempat ‘Sentra Penyuluhan Kehutanan’ yang digunakan sebagai tempat untuk memberikan penyuluhan memelihara pohon dan cara berkontribusi di sekitar lingkungannya.
Selain itu terdapat tempat ‘Bale Karesemen’ yang berfungsi sebagai tempat berkumpul dan pertunjukan seni. Lalu, ada ‘Pusat Produksi Angklung’ yang memudahkan para pengunjung melihat proses pembuatan angklung dengan kualitas yang bagus. (des/berbagai sumber)***
