*Sebuah Catatan dari Pengelanaan “Para Pengelana”

SAJAK-SAJAK Lilis R. Hamdah yang terhimpun dalam sebuah antologi bertajuk “Para Pengelana” berisi tema-tema percakapan yang tidak dipaksakan. Sajak-sajak itu tidak banyak diotak-atik oleh penyairnya sendiri. Sehimpun puisi tentang aku lirik di tengah-tengah kepungan berbagai lapis realitas yang membuatnya merasa kecil, punya harap, rasa takut, rasa rindu, rasa mendapatkan makna, dan rasa-rasa lainnya.

Jadi, pertama-tama, bagi Lilis sajak merupakan peluang untuk menggauli pengalaan-pengalaman ‘ada’. Dengan ‘ada’ itu ia memasuki ada-ada lainnya. Mungkin dapat dikatakan bahwa pengalaman ontologis ini sudah merupakan ciri dari penyair lirik.

Penyair lirik itu banyak, mungkin boleh dibilang seperti cendawan di musim penghujan. Namun, mereka lain dengan Lilis. Ada pembeda dari aku-liriknya Lilis dengan yang lain. Aku lirik-aku lirik dalam begitu banyak sajaknya kerap hadir dalam bangun gambar-ada semata sehingga ia tidak punya peran atau kuasa untuk menafsir, meski tentu dapat juga dipahami sebagai upaya untuk meminimalisasi peran tersebut. Upaya inilah yang kemudian menjadikannya tahu sasaran pembaca.

Gambar-gambar yang tercitra dalam himpunan “Para Pengelana” ini sungguh baik dan jarang diarifi para penyair secara umum. Ketika sajak terjebak pada quote atau usaha penarikan simpul lain, sajak bisa celaka karena menggunakan penalaran-kuasa itu: subjek menjadi narsis dan penyair seakan melahirkan aku lirik yang narsis itu pula, sedangkan narsisme adalah penyakit bawaan manusia yang belakangan makin diperparah oleh media sosial. Itu berarti sajak-sajak narsis tak lebih dari kepanjangan dari penyakit yang sama yang tidak disadari dengan alasan nilai tertentu.

Lilis cukup menjaga sajak-sajaknya dari sikap narsis dan semacamnya itu, maka kehadiran kumpulan “Para Pengelana” ini menjadi penting untuk mengimbangi narsisme. Narsisme tidak mengelanakan diri, ia diri diam dalam diri. Sedangkan Lilis mengelanakan aku lirik dalam gambar-gambar realitas yang diyakininya cukup, tidak lebih tidak kurang. Contoh dari gambar yang kami maksud salah satunya bisa dilihat dalam sajak berikut.

banyak hikmah yang tersebar;
dari daun kering yang jatuh,
rumput yang terinjak,
atau juga dari teriakan seorang penjual sapu lidi keliling.

Apakah sajak di atas sudah mencukupi menjadi sajak? Para penyair ‘mualaf’ mungkin akan mengatakan itu baru teori tentang penulisan sajak dan belum jadi sajak, lalu salah kaprah dalam memahami makna detail. Tentu laku seperti itu salah besar. Di tangan Lilis, untaian itu sudah menjadi sajak. Bahkan sajak “Hikmah” ini merupakan salah satu metodenya dalam meletakkan aku lirik di tengah-tengah gambar-gambar realitas. Kita dapat melihat gambar …daun kering yang jatuh serta rumput yang terinjak… sebagai permainan citraan visual dan auditif yang tidak tidak dipaksakan itu, tidak diberi makna itu, kemudian gambar ini dialihkan pada gambar manusia: teriakan seorang penjual sapu lidi keliling. Di mana hikmah dari semua itu?

Jawabannya tentu ada di dalam semua itu! Untuk sampai pada kemampuan menikmati gambar yang detail macam ini tentu perlu pembaca yang sudah melampaui kelas mualaf juga —detail tidak sama artinya dengan cerewet. Hanya penikmat gambar sejati yang dapat menangkap indahnya gambar bahkan jika pun itu naif sejauh naif merupakan metode yang disadari juru gambar.

Selain kesadarannya untuk cukup dalam gambar-gambar, Lilis juga berusaha konsisten dalam memanfaatkan sajak sebagai disiplin kemakrifatan. Ini sebenarnya agak jarang dikembangkan sebagai sajak dalam bahasa perempuan. Para penyair perempuan belakangan banyak memanfaatkan isu tubuh atau doa yang reguler. Isu tubuh didorong oleh perkembangan kajian gender dan feminisme, doa reguler dikembangkan oleh mereka yang tidak berwawasan ilmu dan menjadikan sajak sebagai pelarian. Pelarian memiliki makna yang jauh berbeda dengan disiplin kemakrifatan yang sudah kami sebutkan tadi.

Seorang yang sudah menjalani hidup dalam kesadaran bersama Yang Maharealitas punya pilihan untuk tidak mengatur hidup sehingga memunculkan gambar-gambar tanpa kuasa diri untuk memaknai karena ia hanya hamba, atau lebih jauh ia lebur ke dalam Yang Maharealitas itu sendiri sehingga ia makin kehilangan mengerti, alias tidak mengerti, alias —dalam bahasa yang nyaris sama: nonsense.

Kedua pilihan ini merupakan sikap sufistik, kecuali nonsense dipahami sebagai kesadaran tanpa Yang Maharealitas. Tidak. Lilis tidak memasuki nonsense itu!

Setiap aku liriknya mengalami kesadaran tak kuasa memaknai saja, sehingga setiap sajaknya seakan mengajak kita membenarkan kitab-kitab macam Al-Hikam yang ditulis bukan untuk para pendosa atau mualaf, tapi justru untuk mereka yang ahli ibadah yang bersandar pada ibadahnya sehingga lupa pengharapan pada Pemberi Rahmat. Sajak-sajak Lilis ini dengan demikian juga menawarkan sikap etis pada agama serta Tuhan agar diri menjadi tahu diri.

Kini, giliran para pembaca sekalian untuk menikmati satu demi satu sajak Lilis sehingga semoga bisa mengelana ke dalam diri, ke dalam rindu, ke dalam harap, dan semoga dengan itu semua dapat kembali pada pengharapan rahmat.***
