PERJALANAN Cileunyi Kabupaten Bandung – Sumedang, Minggu, 22 Maret 2020 pagi, ruancarrr, tanpa macet. Padahal, biasanya saat mulai aktivitas di pagi hari, jalan nasional itu dipadati kendaraan. Mulai sepeda motor, mobil kecil, bus, hingga truk, berseliweran padat merayap.
Selepas tersadar, baru ingat, oh ternyata kita kini tengah diharu-biru corona. Orang menahan diri bepergian, jika tak perlu-perlu amat.
Tempuhan Cileunyi – Sumedang hanya butuh 45 menit. Beda dengan saat jalur itu dipenuhi kendaraan, sebelum corona datang. Dengan laju sepeda motor sedang-sedang saja, butuh waktu sekurangnya 90 hingga 120 menit untuk sampai Sumedang.
Setibanya di Sumedang kota, suasana tak beda jauh. Jalanan sepi. Perjalanan di dalam kota pun bablas mulus.
Dari Sumedang kota jalan-jalan berlanjut ke selatan, menuju Perkebunan Teh Margawindu di Desa Citengah, Kecamatan Sumedang Selatan. Jarak dari kota ke lokasi sekitar delapan kilometer. Hanya setengah jam waktu tempuh dari kota ke kebun teh.
Saat melihat kiri kanan jalan yang dirimbuni pepohonan tinggi besar, sejenak si corona yang sebelumnya begitu memumetkan kepala terlupakan. Namun, sesampainya di kebun teh yang memiliki ketinggian 1.200 meter di atas permukaan laut, ternyata seliweran si corona ini muncul lagi.
Kala ngobrol dengan warga setempat, sebut saja namanya Ustad Soleh (45) dan beberapa pemetik teh, topik seputar corona membumbui sebagian besar perbincangan.
“Kami malam tadi baru saja menggelar peringatan Rajaban. Alhamdulillah warga kompak hadir. Namun, tak ada satupun aparat mulai kades, kadus, hingga ketua RT dan RW datang. Mereka takut corona,” kata Soleh, membuka pembicaraan.
“Ketakutan aparat kepada corona terlihat sejak kami mengajukan perizinan kepada pemerintah desa. Mereka tampaknya enggan memberi izin, takut ajang perkumpulan ini jadi wahana penyebaran corona. Namun, setelah kami yakinkan bahwa semua warga steril corona, aparat desa baru memberi izin,” lanjut Soleh.
Ucapan Soleh, disambut langsung pemetik teh, Ningsih (50). Kata dia, hantu corona memang begitu menggemparkan. Tak ayal, hidup adem warga yang tinggal yang tinggal nun jauh di pegunungan itu terganggu.
“Bagi kami, semuanya diserahkan saja kepada Alloh. Memang waspada itu harus. Tapi jika corona ini mengganggu ritme hidup kami, hingga harus tinggal di rumah terus, kami mau makan apa? Biarlah yang membicarakan corona yang hidup di kota-kota besar saja, ” kata Ningsih sambil mengusap peluh di keningnya.
Pemetik teh lainnya, Oneng (35), mengeluhkan imbas corona ini. Menurutnya, kabar terakhir yang dia dengar, Pasar Sumedang akan tutup di masa-masa corona ini.
“Kalau begini mah, harga-harga pasti melambung. Barang-barang susah dicari. Yang kecil seperti kami, pasti makin menderita,” cetusnya.
Ya, corona ini begitu menggemparkan. Bencana internasional di depan mata. Sendi-sendi kehidupan dalam waktu sekejap berubah total. Hubungan antarmanusia penuh curiga. Di sisi lain, urusan perut tak bisa ditutupi hanya dengan ketakutan terhadap virus yang disebarkan dari Wuhan, China ini.
Tuturan Ustad Soleh yang bertubuh kerempeng, berjanggut putih, dan berpenampilan kalem itu, sepertinya patut direnungkan.
“Kita kini hidup di zaman tidak menentu. Keserakahan, saling menjelekan, dan saling menyudutkan bukan hal aneh lagi. Tiba-tiba kita dikejutkan corona. Semuanya bingung dan tergagap-gagap. Jangan-jangan akan tiba saatnya, kanibal itu datang. Saling makan sesama manusia, karena urusan perut. Pemicunya, kesulitan mencari uang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup.”
