ZONALITERASI.ID – Observatorium Bosscha yang berlokasi di kawasan Lembang, Kabupaten Bandung Barat, Jawa Barat, mengadakan program Pameran Sejarah Observatorium Bosscha. Pameran ini digelar untuk kunjungan wisatawan pada momen libur panjang Hari Raya Iduladha 2023.
Staf Observatorium Bosscha, Yatny Yulianty, mengatakan, sejak ditutup pada Maret 2020, Bosscha membuka kembali kunjungan untuk publik pada Juni 2023. Kunjungan dibuka hanya setiap hari Sabtu.
“Mulai Sabtu, 1 Juli 2023, Bosscha mulai menghadirkan program kunjungan wisata edukasi astronomi dengan tema tertentu. Kita hadirkan program yang lebih banyak menggali tentang sejarah keobservatoriuman di Bosscha ini. Apalagi kan Bosscha sudah berusia 100 tahun di 2023 ini,” kata Yatny, di Bandung, Selasa, 27 Juni 2023, dilansir dari Antara.
Yatni menyebutkan, melalui kunjungan wisata edukasi astronomi ini, para pengunjung diarahkan untuk menjelajahi objek-objek dari koleksi Observatorium Bosscha. Selanjutnya, pengunjung diajak mempelajari peran situs observatorium serta objek tersebut dalam studi penentuan waktu, survei, dan astronomi yang telah dijalankan observatorium selama 100 tahun berdiri.
Pengunjung juga dapat mempelajari sejarah keobservatoriuman, evolusi instrumen, dan metode pengamatan astronomi dalam topik penelitian yang dilakukan di Observatorium Bosscha.
“Kunjungan ke Bosscha untuk saat ini dibatasi hanya 100 orang setiap hari kunjungan pada Sabtu. Pembatasan itu pun dilakukan demi membuat pesan edukasi tersampaikan secara baik ke pengunjung. Kami berupaya meningkatkan efikasi tingkat pendidikan atau transfer informasi dan ikatan dengan pengunjung, jadi kalau banyak (orang) itu nggak bisa banyak diskusi, jadi transfer ilmunya kurang,” kata Yatny.
Ia menyebutkan, tiket kunjungan ke Observatorium Bosscha bisa didapat dengan membuka situs resmi bosscha.itb.ac.id dan mengakses laman Kunjungan Siang Berpemandu. Setiap pengunjung dikenakan biaya untuk pembelian tiket sebesar Rp. 50 ribu.
“Observatorium Bosscha akan selalu mengevaluasi kegiatan kunjungan wisatawan setiap Sabtu ini. Tak menutup kemungkinan hari kunjungan akan ditambah guna memperluas edukasi astronomi kepada masyarakat maupun wisatawan,” pungkas Yatny. (haf)***
