ZONALITERASI.ID – Putri Amelia adalah contoh mahasiswi asal Bandung yang patut diapresiasi. Meskipun masih muda, baru-baru ini ia memberikan hadiah istimewa berupa rumah untuk sang ibunda. Rumah tersebut diperolehnya dari hasil usaha dan bisnis yang sudah dijalani sejak 2018.
Mahasiswi yang kerap dipanggil “Pute” itu mulai merintis bisnis sejak masih duduk di bangku SMP pada tahun 2017. Dengan niat agar mandiri dan tidak bergantung pada orang tua, ia berjualan berbagai perhiasan dan aksesori secara online yang ia beri nama ‘Putstuff.id’. Meskipun mengalami pasang surut, termasuk vakumnya bisnis saat ia lulus SMA, Putri tidak menyerah dan beralih ke bisnis jasa yang sudah ia geluti ketika masuk kuliah.
Sebagai anak kedua dari dua bersaudara, Putri selalu diarahkan oleh orang tuanya untuk memanfaatkan masa muda dengan baik. Ayahnya menekankan agar Putri mengejar impiannya, tidak berlebihan dalam segala sesuatu, mencari rezeki yang halal, dan menggapai sesuatu dengan cara yang baik. Pada usia 20 tahun, ia telah menjalankan berbagai usaha dan bahkan mampu membelikan rumah untuk ibunya di daerah Kecamatan Sukajadi, Kota Bandung.
Dana untuk membeli rumah tersebut dihimpun dari berbagai usaha yang ia jalani, termasuk dari bekerja paruh waktu, bisnis online, mengikuti magang, dan aktif berorganisasi baik di dalam maupun luar kampus. Sebelumnya, Putri memang sudah bertekad untuk membelikan rumah untuk ibunya sejak lama. Namun, ia tidak pernah menyampaikan hal tersebut, hingga pada akhir 2023 ibunya jatuh sakit. Untuk menyemangati ibunya agar sembuh kembali, ia kemudian berbicara pada sang ibu untuk mengungkapkan niatnya itu.
Putri juga aktif dalam berbagai kegiatan organisasi sejak Sekolah Dasar, mulai dari ekstrakurikuler Pramuka, hingga bergabung di OSIS dan ROHIS saat menginjak sekolah menengah. Selain itu, Putri juga meraih predikat Juara Umum Nilai Tertinggi UN & USBN di SMPN 40 Bandung. Di SMA, ia juga berkegiatan di MPK (Majelis Perwakilan Kelas), PASKIBRA, dan ekstrakulikuler Voli. Sejak memasuki kuliah, ia kerap menerima berbagai beasiswa termasuk dari Bank Indonesia.
Meski sibuk, Putri tetap menjalani kuliah tanpa hambatan akademis dan saat ini sedang menempuh semester enam di sebuah perguruan tinggi negeri berbasis Islam di Kota Bandung. Dia memiliki rencana untuk melanjutkan pendidikan S2 setelah menikah.
“Rencana kedepannya ya kalau ada jodohnya nikah dulu lanjut S2, gitu,” tutur Putri saat diwawancara secara daring.
Di akhir wawancara, ia juga memberikan pesan kepada kita semua, “Jadilah orang yang punya tekad tinggi dan terus berkarya.” (mardani mastiar)***
