ZONALITERASI.ID – Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) bersama Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (Baznas) akan menyalurkan bantuan kepada 1.000 madrasah swasta. Bantuan ini didesain lewat program Madrasah Layak Belajar (MLB).
“Program ini tentunya sangat bermanfaat menjadi motivasi bagi kita semua untuk meningkatkan kualitas madrasah di masing-masing daerah. Ini menjadi jawaban atas kebutuhan pendidikan anak-anak kita,” kata Wakil Menteri Agama Saiful Rahmat Dasuki, dilansir dari laman Kemenag, Selasa, 10 Septembar 2024.
Ia berharap program ini dapat menumbuhkan semangat belajar siswa madrasah di seluruh Indonesia. Menurutnya, madrasah harus ikut beradaptasi secara teknologi dan lainnya.
“Kita berharap dengan program yang diberikan Baznas menjadi sebuah nafas segar. Semoga pemerintah kabupaten/kota dapat mengikuti inisiasi dari Baznas,” tuturnya.
Ketua Baznas, Noor Achmad, mengungkapkan, bantuan ini akan menyasar madrasah swasta yang berada di lingkungan tidak mampu. Bantuan nantinya bisa digunakan untuk perbaikan sarana maupun prasarana kelas dan sanitasi.
“Baznas melalui program ini akan menggulirkan stimulan untuk 1.000 madrasah. Jadi 1.000 madrasah yang masing-masing akan mendapatkan stimulasi Rp 25 juta,” ujar Noor.
Noor mengatakan, program ini menjadi salah satu misi dari Baznas yakni mendistribusikan dan mengoptimalkan pendayagunaan ZIS untuk pengentasan kemiskinan, mengurangi kesenjangan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan.
“Kami meyakini bahwa pendidikan adalah tangga utama seseorang untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan umat di Indonesia,” tutur Noor.
29.465 Kelas Madrasah Rusak
Menurut data Direktorat Kurikulum, Sarana, Kelembagaan, dan Kesiswaan (KSKK) Madrasah Kemenag, ada sebanyak 217.021 total ruang kelas madrasah di Indonesia. Dari jumlah tersebut sebanyak 162.579 kelas dalam kondisi baik. Sementara 29.465 kelas rusak ringan,17.787 rusak sedang, dan 158 rusak berat.
“Insya Allah ke depan kami komitmen untuk terus melakukan kualitas maupun kuantitas. Maka mohon didoakan semoga kinerja Baznas semakin optimal dan semakin banyak menebar manfaat untuk Indonesia,” kata Noor.
Direktur KSKK Madrasah, M. Sidik Sisdianto, berharap program MLB dapat memberikan solusi terbaik bagi madrasah di Indonesia. Dengan infrastruktur madrasah yang memadai, diharapkan menarik minat calon siswa belajar di madrasah.
“Pastinya sangat bermanfaat dan dibutuhkan madrasah di seluruh Indonesia yang memiliki kategori yang telah ditetapkan panitia,” tegas Sidik. ***
