Milenial di Ledeng Kota Bandung Ubah Selokan Jadi Bersih dan Penuh Ikan

Papici RW 02 Kelurahan Ledeng, Kecamatan Cidadap, Kota Bandung mengubah selokan yang kotor dan berbau menjadi jernih dan bersih, (Foto: Humas.Bandung.go.id).

ZONALITERASI.ID – Sungguh mantap kreasi Pemuda Pemudi Cipaku (Papici) RW 02, Kelurahan Ledeng, Kecamatan Cidadap, Kota Bandung. Berkat tangan-tangan kreatif mereka, selokan yang semula kotor dan berbau, berhasil diubah menjadi jernih dan bersih. Mereka juga menanam tanaman hidropinik di dinding selokan.

Kini, selokan yang kemudian disemai ikan ini menjadi objek wisata baru bagi warga setempat.

Gebrakan tersebut dilakukan Papici melalui gerakan “Sustainable Cipaku”. Lewat gerakan ini, Papici menginisiasi agar warga peduli terhadap kebersihan dan keindahan lingkungan.

“Awalnya selokan ini dipenuhi sampah. Namun setelah adanya gerakan saya bersama teman-teman, kebiasaan masyarakat menjadi berubah,” ujar penggagas gerakan “Sustainable Cipaku”, Rima. dilansir dari laman Pemkot Bandung, Senin (20/12/2021).

“Dalam gerakan ini, Papici menebar sebanyak 1.000 ekor bibit ikan lele dan 250 ekor bibit ikan nila di selokan yang melintasi RW 04 dan RW 05 Kelurahan Ledeng,” tambahnya.

Menariknya, Papici tak jalan sendirian. Gerakan ini mendapat dukungan Lurah Ledeng, Budi Prasetio.

“Saya mengapresiasi kiprah milenial yang tergabung dalam Papici. Sebagai langkah awal, kami berkoordinasi dengan dinas terkait untuk mengakomodir inisiasi luar biasa para pemuda-pemudi ini,” kata Budi.

Ia menuturkan, kualitas air serta fasilitas lainnya di area selokan ini perlu ditingkatkan. Untuk itu perlu koordinasi dengan dinas terkait.

“Saat ini kita lihat, meskipun dengan penyaring sederhana, namun ikan-ikan dapat hidup. Kami berharap ke depannya akan ada sistem filtrasi air seperti selokan yang ada di samping Balai Kota Bandung,” tutur Budi.

Gebrakan Papici ini juga diapresiasi Ketua RW 02, Kelurahan Ledeng, Tosidin. Ia mengajak warga lainnya turut menyukseskan gerakan yang dilakukan anak muda di wilayahnya.

“Upaya yang telah dilakukan ini sangat bagus. Papici merangkul warga agar peduli terhadap lingkungan,” ujarnya. (des)***
