ZONALITERASI.ID – Masyarakat Indonesia memang dikenal fanatik sepak bola sejak dahulu. Sikap itu terlihat baik ketika hadir di stadion maupun menikmati sepak bola melalui siaran radio.

Sepak bola Indonesia pernah mencatatkan prestasi yang bertahan sampai saat ini dalam urusan jumlah penonton terbanyak sepanjang sejarah. Hal itu terjadi pada 23 Februari 1985 di Stadion Utama Senayan (nama lain Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno).

Ketika itu, Persib Bandung berjumpa PSMS Medan dalam laga final. Sejatinya, kapasitas Stadion Utama Senayan hanya sanggup menampung 110 ribu penonton.

Namun, massa yang hadir ketika itu mencapai kurang lebih 150 ribu. Penonton tumpah ruah hingga ke garis lapangan karena laga tersebut mempertemukan dua klub bergengsi kala itu.

Kelebihan hampir 40 ribu penonton membuat mereka harus turun ke pinggir lapangan dan menyaksikan pertandingan dari sentelban dengan penjagaan petugas keamanan. Kendati demikian, tidak ada bentrok antarsuporter yang terjadi dalam pertandingan tersebut.

PSMS berhasil unggul dua gol lebih dulu melalui Musimin Sidik pada menit ke-14 dan 35′. Persib kemudian bangkit pada babak kedua dengan mencetak gol penyeimbang pada menit ke-65′ melalui tendangan penalti Iwan Sunarya dan sundulan Ajar Sudrajat (75′).

Akan tetapi, Persib gagal meraih gelar juara. Persib dipaksa mengakui kekalahan melalui drama adu penalti dengan skor 3-4 dari PSMS Medan.

Meskipun kalah, suporter Persib tak membuah kegaduhan di Stadion Utama Senayan. Kedua kelompok suporter meninggalkan stadion dengan kondusif.

Hingga 2020, belum ada lagi laga liga di Indonesia yang memecahkan rekor penonton terbanyak. Apalagi Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno yang sudah mengalami renovasi dan saat ini hanya mampu menampung 77 ribu penonton.

Lantas, laga apa lagi yang mencatatkan sejarah penonton terbanyak di Indonesia?

Persija Jakarta Vs Arema FC (2010)

Pertandingan antara Persija Jakarta melawan Arema FC di Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno terjadi pada 30 Mei 2010. Laga itu merupakan pertandingan pekan terakhir Liga Super Indonesia 2009-2010.

Buat Arema FC laga ini sebenarnya sudah tak menentukan lagi. Apapun hasil yang diraih, klub berjulukan Singo Edan itu tetap menjadi kampiun di Indonesia.

Namun, Arema tetap menganggap laga dengan serius. Skuat Arema dipimpin pelatih Robert Alberts dengan materi pemain berkualitas semisal Kurnia Meiga, Benny Wahyudi, Zulkifli Syukur, Muhammad Ridhuan, Roman Chmelo, Esteban Guillen, dan Noh Alam Shah di lini depan.

Arema sempat membuat publik SUGBK terdiam pada babak pertama berkat keunggulan 2 gol melalui aksi Esteban Guillen dan Pierre Njanka. Harapan sempat ada buat Persija ketika Bambang Pamungkas memperkecil ketertinggalan pada menit ke-66.

Namun, setelah itu laga seluruhnya milik Arema FC. Klub asal Jawa Timur menambah tiga gol melalui dua gol Roman Chmelo dan Noh Alam Shah.

Arema FC berpesta menyudahi laga dengan skor 5-1. Arema akhirnya menutup musim dengan status juara berkat raihan 73 poin, sedangkan Persija Jakarta finis di urutan kelima dengan nilai 52 angka.

Persija Jakarta Vs Persib Bandung (2019)

Stadion Utama Gelora Bung Karno kembali mencatatkan jumlah penonton tertinggi di sepak bola Indonesia. Kali ini terjadi ketika sepak bola Indonesia sudah memakai nama Liga 1 pada edisi 2019.

Persija Jakarta menjamu Persib Bandung pada 7 Oktober 2019. Pertandingan berlangsung alot pada babak pertama, Persija yang menguasai pertandingan kesulitan membongkar lini pertahanan Persib Bandung asuhan Robert Alberts.

Pada menit ke-75, publik tuan rumah akhirnya bergemuruh menjamut gol Marko Simic. Namun, tiga menit berselang petaka hadir buat Persija karena Novri Setiawan mendapatkan kartu merah.

Unggul jumlah pemain lantas berhasil dimanfaatkan oleh Persib Bandung. Pada menit ke-90+1, klub berjuluk Maung Bandung itu berhasil menggagalkan kemenangan Persija melalui gol Artur Geworkyan.

Skor 1-1 bertahan hingga peluit panjang. Persija Jakarta ketika itu finis di urutan ke-10 dengan raihan 44 poin, sedangkan Persib berada di posisi keenam dengan nilai 51. (des)***
