ZONALITERASI.ID – Tiga perguruan tinggi negeri/PTN (ITB, UPI, Unpad) dan 1 perguruan tinggi swasta/PTS (Telkom University) di Bandung masuk daftar 25 universitas terbaik di Indonesia versi Webometrics.

Webometrics telah merilis hasil pemeringkatan perguruan tinggi per Juli 2021. Penilaian didasarkan pada website atau situs masing-masing universitas di dunia.

Dilansir dari situs Webometrics, terdapat sejumlah indikator dan metodologi untuk mendapatkan pemeringkatan tersebut, yakni:

1) Aspek impact dinilai dari banyaknya backlink dari situs luar.

2) Openness, diukur dari jumlah file berbagai jenis (.pdf, .doc, .ps, .eps, .docx, .ppt, atau .pptx), yang dapat diakses dan terhubung dengan domain situs universitas.

3) Excellence, dinilai dari jumlah artikel publikasi ilmiah. Pemeringkatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mempromosikan open access atas pengetahuan yang dihasilkan oleh perguruan tinggi.

Berikut 25 universitas di Indonesia berdasarkan pemeringkatan Webometrics Ranking of World Universities pada Juli 2021:

1) Universitas Indonesia (UI)

UI menduduki peringkat ke-1 pada ranking universitas terbaik di Indonesia. Dari peringkat dunia, UI berada di posisi ke-729.
