ZONALITERASI.ID – Empat siswa SMPIT Thariq Bin Ziyad (TBZ), Tambun Bekasi menjadi wakil Indonesia pada ajang World Scout Jambore (Jambore Pramuka Dunia) 2023, di SaeManGeum, Jeollabuk-do, Korea Selatan. Kegiatan ini berlangsung pada tanggal 1-12 Agustus 2023.
Wakil dari SMPIT TBZ ini nantinya akan bergabung dengan wakil dari sekolah lainnya se-Indonesia. Keempat wakil SMP IT TBZ tersebut adalah Syafira Al Maida Salim, Alifah Hawra Fatinah, Khansa Jeanne Ramadhani, dan Salwa Rahma Novriyanti (9D). Mereka akan didampingi oleh pembina, Syahrudin Setiadi.
Kepala SMPIT TBZ, H. Nur Kosim, Lc, mengapresiasi prestasi yang ditorehkan keempat siswa ini.
“Selamat dan sukses bagi Ananda wakil SMPIT TBZ pada ajang World Scout Jambore ke 25. Mudah-mudahan kegiatan ini dapat menambah ilmu, wawasan, pengalaman, pertemanan, serta menjadi bukti bahwa SIT TBZ adalah sekolah yang berkontribusi tidak hanya di tingkat nasional namun juga internasional,” katanya.
Diketahui, berdasarkan keterangan dari Ketua Kwartir Nasional (Kwarnas), Budi Waseso, Indonesia mengirimkan 1500 kontingen dalam Jambore Pramuka Dunia 2023.
“Jumlah ini terdiri dari peserta, pembina pendamping, International Service Team (IST), visitor, serta panitia pendukung dari kwarnas,” katanya.
Jambore Pramuka Dunia tahun ini adalah yang ke 25 sejak pertama kali diadakan pada tahun 1920 di Inggris. Kegiatan pramuka dengan skala dunia ini diadakan setiap empat tahun sekali. Korea Selatan sejauh ini tercatat sudah dua kali menjadi tuan rumah. Pertama kali menjadi tuan rumah yaitu pada World Scout Jambore ke-17 tahun 1991.
“World Scout Jambore ini sangat bermanfaat bagi generasi muda karena mereka dapat menjalin pertemanan dengan pemuda dari berbagai kebudayaan yang berbeda. Tema yang diangkat pada tahun ini adalah ‘Draw Your Dream’. Tema ini mewakili keinginan dunia untuk menerima pendapat dan opini dari generasi muda serta menciptakan kesempatan untuk mewujudkan impian mereka agar menjadi kenyataan,” ujar Budi. (des)***
