ZONALITERASI.ID – SMPN 1 Cililin, Kabupaten Bandung Barat melaksanakan In House Training (IHT) Inovasi Strategi dan Media Pembelajaran di Masa Pandemi, pada Sabtu (31/7/2021).
Rencananya, sesi selanjutnya dari IHT yang diikuti seluruh guru SMPN 1 Cililin ini akan berlangsung pada 7 dan 14 Agustus 2021.
Kepala Bidang Pembinaan SMP Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Bandung Barat, Asep Nirwan, mengatakan, IHT merupakan kegiatan positif yang dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam proses pembelajaran jarak jauh.
“IHT bisa dijadikan tempat untuk bisa berbagi antarguru sehingga kendala yang muncul dalam proses pembelajaran dapat teratasi,” kata Asep, saat membuka kegiatan.
Menurutnya, setiap guru harus meningkatkan kemampuan di tengah perkembangan ilmu dan teknologi yang demikian pesat.
“Ini sangat penting dalam mempersiapkan siswa untuk menjadi pelaku utama pembelajaran sehingga mampu berkompetisi di masa yang akan datang,” tandasnya.
Kepala SMPN 1 Cililin, Juhaendi, mengungkapkan, inovasi yang dihadirkan dalam IHT diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran warga sekolah. Ia mendorong agar tiga sesi IHT ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebaik-baiknya oleh para peserta.
Lanjut Juhaendi, guru dituntut selalu meningkatkan kompetensi penguasaan teknologi dan informasi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh pada masa pandemi Covid-19.
“Kita harus bisa memenuhi tuntutan sesuai dengan kebutuhan zaman,” ujarnya.
Juhaendi menambahkan, IHT hendaknya menjadi langkah awal dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan kompetensi guru. Sehingga proses pembelajaran jarak jauh dapat berjalan sesuai dengan harapan semua pihak.
”Semoga kegiatan ini berjalan lancar dan dapat dimanfaatkan sebaik mungkin sehingga tujuan dari kegiatan ini bisa tercapai,” imbuhnya.
Sementara itu, Asep Solihin yang tampil sebagai pemateri memaparkan ‘Pemanfaatan Google Meet’. Selain menjelaskan sejumlah fitur dan kegunaannya, ia juga mengajak peserta melakukan praktik. (des)***
