ZONALITERASI.ID – Tiga cabang olahraga (cabor) kontingen Kota Bandung lolos untuk berpartisipasi ke Olimpiade Olahraga Siswa Nasional (O2SN) tingkat nasional.

Ketiga cabang olahraga itu yakni Bulu Tangkis putra, Renang putri, dan Karate.

“Raihan ini atas kerja sama dan kerja keras semua atlet dan pelatih. Proses seleksi dilakukan secara juknis. Mulai dari seleksi tingkat sekolah, kecamatan dan kota, di mana seluruhnya sesuai dengan petunjuk teknis seleksi,” kata Sub-koordinator Kelembagaan dan Peserta Didik Dinas Pendidikan (Disdik) Kota Bandung, Risman Al Isnaeni, di kantor Disdik Kota Bandung, Selasa, 8 Agustus 2023.

Diketahui, Kontingen Kota Bandung meraih juara umum pada O2SN jenjang SD tingkat Jawa Barat 2023 yang digelar di Kota Bandung pada 1-2 Agustus 2023. Kota Bandung berhasil mengantongi 8 emas, 3 perak, dan 1 perunggu.

Kepala Disdik Kota Bandung, Hikmat Ginanjar, mengapresiasi kepada seluruh peserta O2SN, tim pelatih, pembimbing, Kepala Sekolah, Guru, dan orang tua siswa yang senantiasa membantu serta mendukung.

“Kami mengapresiasi dan sangat bangga mendengar gembira ini. Alhamdulillah Kota Bandung meraih juara umum. Terima kasih kepada seluruh jajaran dan ke depan dimohon untuk lebih fokus lagi pada minat bakat peserta didik,” kata Hikmat.

Medali Terbanyak dalam Sejarah O2SN

Kepala Bidang Pembinaan dan Pengembangan Sekolah Dasar (PPSD) Disdik Kota Bandung, Bambang Ariyanto, mengapresiasi perjuangan kontingen Kota Bandung yang berhasil meraih juara umum. Karena dalam sejarah O2SN tingkat Jawa Barat, Tahun 2023 menjadi terbanyak meraih medali emas.

“Alhamdulillah tahun ini berhasil mendulang medali terbanyak selama sejarah O2SN yakni mendapat 8 emas, 3 perak dan 1 perunggu,” ungkap Bambang.

Kepala SDN 196 Sukarasa Bandung, Carjani, mengungkapkan rasa bangga karena salah satu peserta didik dari cabor renang berhasil meraih 1 emas dan 1 perak.

“Yang pertama bangga anak anak Kota Bandung bisa masuk provinsi dan tingkat nasional. Kami pihak sekolah sangat mendukung ini mulai dari tingkat kecamatan, kota, provinsi,” ujarnya.

Rayva Ghassani Setiaharja, siswa SDN 190 Cisaranten Kidul, mengaku senang karena bisa berpartisipasi di kejuaraan O2SN tingkat Jawa Barat cabor renang putri serta berhasil meraih 2 emas dan 1 perak.

“Sangat senang bisa jadi juara. Semoga bisa terus juara dan ikut kejuaraan di tingkat yang lebih tinggi lagi,” ungkap Rayva.
