UPI Gelar Lomba Inovasi Digital Mahasiswa se-Indonesia

ZONALITERASI.ID – Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) bekerja sama dengan Balai Pengembangan Talenta Indonesia (BPTI) Pusat Prestasi Nasional (Puspresnas) Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset dan Teknologi (Kemdikbudristek) menjadi tuan rumah “Lomba Inovasi Digital Mahasiswa (LIDM) Tahun 2023″.

Kegiatan ini akan digelar pada 4 sampai 6 Juli 2023 dengan tema “Literasi Digital untuk Menumbuhkembangkan Talenta Pendidikan Nasional Menuju Indonesia Maju dengan Tatanan Kehidupan Baru”. Kegiatan akan dibuka oleh Plt. Dirjen Dikti Kemdikbudristek, Prof. Nizam, pada 4 Juli 2023.

Ketua Pelaksana LIDM yang juga Dekan Fakultas Pendidikan Seni dan Desain (FPSD) UPI, Dr. Phil. Yudi Sukmayadi, M.Pd., mengatakan, LIDM merupakan ajang bagi mahasiswa se-Indonesia untuk menunjukan talentanya dalam bidang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menjadi generasi yang unggul, inovatif, kreatif, kompeten, berkarakter, dan berbudaya.

“LIDM Tahun ini diikuti oleh 1.356 kelompok dari 234 perguruan tinggi di Indonesia dan yang masuk babak final sebanyak 100 kelompok peserta dari 48 perguruan tinggi di Indonesia,” kata Yudi, dalam keterangan resmi, Sabtu, 1 Juli 2023.

Rektor UPI, Prof. M. Solehuddin, mengatakan, LIDM yang diselenggarakan oleh BPTI Puspresnas Kemdikbudristek merupakan momentum yang tepat untuk mendorong semangat mahasiswa PADA era revlusi industry 4.0. Sehingga, mahasiswa mampu berkompetisi menciptakan inovasi dalam memecahkan berbagai permasalahan yang ada di masyarakat.

Menurutnya, lomba ini menuntut wawasan dan pemahaman mahasiswa yang luas dalam bidang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi serta digitalisasi.

“Tujuan LIDM ini untuk meningkatkan literasi digital mahasiswa serta untuk mengembangkan inovasi dalam pendidikan dan pembelajaran melalui penerapan teknologi digital. Selain itu, LIDM bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepedulian mahasiswa untuk berkontribusi dalam pencapaian pembangunan berkelanjutan melalui penerapan teknologi digital dan menumbuhkembangkan talenta pendidik melalui ajang kompetisi talenta di bidang inovasi pendidikan,” katanya.

Rektor menambahkan, LIDM ini sejalan dengan kebijakan Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) dalam mendorong pendidikan dan pembelajaran di semua jenjang pendidikan.Ini untuk lebih memberikan perhatian pada pemercepatan pencapaian kompetensi abad 21.

“Generasi muda bangsa harus siap bersaing di era revolusi indusri 4.0. Serta, turut berkontribusi dalam meraih hasil gemilang tujuan-tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (Sustainability Development Goals, SDG’s),” pungkasnya.

Pelaksanaan LIDM 2023 dipusatkan di Gedung Achmad Sanusi serta Gedung Fakultas Pendidikan Teknologi dan Kejuruan (FPTK) UPI. Pelaksanaan lomba LIDM disebar di beberapa ruangan yaitu di lobi Gedung FPTK Lantai 1, Smart Class Lantai 3 dan 5, Microteaching A dan B lantai 6. (des)***
