ZONALITERASI.ID – Mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Komputer (Fasilkom) Universitas Indonesia (UI) melalui Ristek Fasilkom dan Hive Fakultas Teknik (FT) UI berkolaborasi membuat aplikasi bernama Bikun Tracker.

Aplikasi berbasis web (web-app) ini diluncurkan pada 22 Mei lalu dan dapat diakses melalui laman bikun.ac.id.

Bikun Tracker berfungsi untuk mempermudah sivitas akademika mengetahui posisi moda transportasi bus kampus UI yang biasa disebut bus kuning. Web-app ini merupakan solusi inovatif yang dapat membantu mobilitas sivitas akademika UI menjadi lebih efisien dan efektif.

Selain itu, Bikun Tracker memiliki fasilitas sistem pelaporan kekerasan seksual yang aman dan mudah

“Bikun Tracker memungkinkan pengguna untuk dapat mengaksesnya tanpa perlu mengunduh di perangkat mereka masing-masing. Selain itu web-app ini mencakup berbagai fungsi yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan efisiensi waktu dan memastikan perpindahan tanpa hambatan,” kata Direktur Produk Ristek Fasilkom UI, Jeremy Alva Prathama di Kampus UI Depok, dilansir dari Antara, Sabtu, 9 September 2023.

Jeremy menyebutkan, fitur utama Bikun Tracker antara lain pelacakan lokasi Bikun secara real-time sehingga memungkinkan pengguna merencanakan perjalanan dengan lebih efektif dan mengurangi waktu tunggu.

Kedua, pemilihan halte dan rute terdekat. Dan ketiga, informasi Bikun terdekat, termasuk waktu kedatangan, durasi waktu kedatangan, nomor Bikun, dan informasi rute berdasarkan halte serta rute yang telah dipilih.

“Untuk menggunakan aplikasi ini, pengguna masuk ke laman bikun.ui.ac.id, kemudian pilih halte saat ini. Berikutnya pilih jalur bikun yang diinginkan (merah atau biru). Pengguna akan melihat posisi dan prediksi waktu tiba Bikun berikutnya di halte saat ini. Pengguna juga dapat melihat posisi bikun di halaman utama,” terangnya.

Pelaporan Kekerasan Seksual

Jeremy menambahkan, Bikun Tracker juga menawarkan sistem pelaporan kekerasan seksual yang aman dan mudah. Dengan fitur ini, pengguna dapat melaporkan kejadian yang tidak menyenangkan dengan mengklik tombol corong berwarna merah di bagian kanan layar pada aplikasi.

Fitur ini juga berfungsi apabila pengguna mengalami bahkan jika melihat kasus kekerasan seksual. Ristek mengelola data-data yang tersimpan terkait pelaporan kasus kekerasan seksual yang terjadi.

“Aplikasi Bikun Tracker diharapkan menjadi solusi yang membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan mobilitas sivitas akademika UI dan menjadikan sivitas akademika UI lebih produktif dalam menjalankan keseharian mereka,” ujar Jeremy. (des)***
